Chimei Optoelectronics Corp. (hereafter called CMO) M156B1-L01 is a 15.6 inch diagonal a-Si TFT-LCD display screen product, with an incorporated CCFL lighting system, without backlight driver, without touch screen. Based on datasheet with version of Ver3.2 which was released out on 7 17 2008, M156B1-L01 supports display 1366(RGB)×768 (WXGA) with aspect ratio of 16:9 (W:H), whose pixels are arranged in RGB Vertical Stripe. As for mechanical detail, it features active area of 344.232(W)×193.536(H) mm, outline size of 363.8(W)×215.9(H)×14.8(D) mm, viewing area size of 347.5(W)×196.8(H) mm, with surface treament of Antiglare (Haze 25%), Hard coating (3H), net weight of 1.30Kgs (Max.). As a TN, Normally White, Transmissive LCM product, M156B1-L01 can provides 250 cd/m² display brightness 500:1 transimissive contrast ratio, 45/45/20/45 (Typ.)(CR≥10) (L/R/U/D) viewing angle, best view direction on 6 o'clock , and response time of 2/6 (Typ.)(Tr/Td) ms. Gray scale or the brightness of the sub-pixel is determined with a 8-bit gray scale signal for each dot, thus presenting a palette of 16.7M colors, also with performance of color gamut 65% (NTSC). This product adopted 2 pcs CCFL as it's backlight systerm which was placed as Edge light type (Top and Bottom) and have a working life time of 50K hours, external backlight driver is additionally needed. M156B1-L01 utilizes LVDS (1 ch, 8-bit) as it's signal inputting systerm, which connected by 30 pins Connector with power supply voltage of 5.0V (Typ.). It's typical vertical frame rate (Fv) is 75Hz.
